Here is what the lucky winner will receive: one vintage German doll torso, one frozen Charlotte doll, and five antique medicine tin lids.

These dolls are perfect for creating unique works of art. They are beautiful as the focal piece for a pendant. Add a bit of lace and make a special ornament. Alter and art them up… the possibilities are endless. Because these dolls were dug up from an old doll factory, the amount of detail, distress, and dirt will vary. The doll torso has holes for the arms and legs and measure about 1 3/4 inches tall. The frozen Charlotte is about 2 inches tall. The jewelry box and the hand are not included in the giveaway and are used for display only.

The small tin lids are very old. There are no bottom pieces, only the tops. The color is a deep yellow with very decorative trim. These would be so perfect for making ornaments or charms. Find small treasures to encase in resin. Attach to a chain and wear as a pendant. Or paint it and make a mini collage. Each tin is about 2 inches in diameter.

I signed up for a fatbook swap and I was so motivated I started and finished the pages today! I think they turned out really well. Here is a picture of the main part of the page. I have a couple added touches but they’re mostly done. Usually when I create something, I go through about a dozen iterations of ideas until I have something I really like. I went with the first prototype this time. Inside the little matchbook are a couple pretty pieces of paper. I think I may stamp a saying inside but not sure yet.

I got my moo cards in the mail today! They turned out so cool… except for one thing… I misspelled my email provider… me… the obsessive proof-reader! HOW EMBARRASSING! I guess that’s karma!

Have you heard this crazy story? I would be pissed! That’s like getting your kids mixed up at daycare! The arrogance of the kennel owner is amazing.

Tomorrow’s the last day to get in on my give away!

Normally I show up at my hair appointments with no plan. I go through this cycle. I grow my hair out. I color it. I cut layers in it. I cut it short. I grow it out again. My hair is thin and fine. My sister, Cheryl (aka Bub), got the good hair in the family. She has thick, shiny long hair that always looks great. Her daughter also has the same hair and looks like Little-Bub. Anyway, I scheduled a hair appointment for the end of the month. I want a new look; I’m in that cut it short stage. I’m tired of looking and feeling old. I need some color and style. I went online and pulled together some really cute pictures. I would love to hear your thoughts on these pictures.
